We use PayPal as our payment processor, so we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Or, you can pay using your PayPal balance.

Yes. You pay through PayPal, the world's premier electronic payment solution, not through this site. We never even see your credit card number; PayPal just tells us that you've paid and we ship you your stuff. We get your money through PayPal later.

Do I have to have a PayPal account to buy?

No, you can pay with your credit card without a PayPal account.


How to Order

By Internet

We have updated our website to make it the fastest and most convenient method of placing your order. All products are available for purchase on our official website, With industry-standard encryption technology, you can rest assured that your personal information will be kept safe. 


Minimum Order Requirements

Minimum orders are 25 of one invitation design. If you need less than 25 invitations, we will charge you $25.00 to make up for printing charges.

Returns and Exchanges

Due to the highly personalized nature of our products, all sales are final. All other standard stationery products may be returned within 14 business days of receipt.
No credits or allowances will be given after this period.


If you need to cancel your order after the design process has started, a $50.00 fee applies to all cancellations.

When To Order

Please place your order as soon as you have all your number of invitations worked out. Reserve your spot on our production calendar with an order, and send us your text information as soon as you get it finalized. Our production schedule is based on a "first come, first served" basis, so if we haven't contacted you, please let us know—we want to make your planning as easy and smooth as possible.

Wedding invitations are traditionally sent out six to eight weeks before the wedding; if you are having a destination wedding, you may want to send invitations and/or save-the-dates even earlier to give guests adequate time to respond and make travel arrangements.


We would like to receive your text and any verbiage you would like to use via e-mail. We just convert your document to the requested font style and color. This process is faster and more accurate.

You will receive a proof of your custom invitation set via e-mail for approval before your order is printed. There will be a $25.00 proof charge for any changes of the text content, layout, font style and color after the third proof has been sent.

Your order will be printed and shipped as proofed by you and Designs by Lenila cannot be held responsible for typos, errors or omissions therein, so please review your proofs carefully! We find it helpful to have an objective person read through the invitations.. they have fresh eyes!

If you happen to miss a typo after you have approved your proofs, we will gladly create you a replacement set of invitations at your cost.

Production Time

After you have approved your final proof via e-mail or phone, please give us about two to three weeks (depending on the size of your order) to have your invitations printed and individually hand created. We have a booked production calendar and your invitations are handmade on a "first come, first served" basis, so a waiting list is always formed. All other orders may take up to three weeks to ship due to the customization of the products. We design, print and cut every piece so it takes some time and care to get your creations done.

Blank cards will usually get shipped out within the week that an order is placed. We will notify you if there is a backorder on any products you order. Please plan ahead!

We use a digital printer for all our invitation sets. All cardstock used is either brilliant white 90-lb. and 100-lb. cover. All envelopes used are a 70-lb. white wove.

All envelope printing is in standard black.


Rush Jobs

If you need your invitations within 2 weeks, we will charge you an expediting charge of $100.00. to put your order in front of the 


Commissioning Custom Watercolor Artwork

I will gladly custom watercolor a desired picture of your special place or object for your invitation or announcement. The cost of a custom watercolor is $100.00 for each watercolor painting and will be property of Designs by Lenila thereafter. You will receive a matted reproduced print with an original signature at no charge. If you are looking for a particular design theme, please contact me as I may be painting it in the near future! Availability of Handmade Papers

The handmade paper we use is from around the world and has an inherent property of having varying differences in coloration, detail, fibers, and texture. Due to the importing of these materials, sometimes certain papers will be discontinued. In these cases, our clients are notified and the chosen discontinued paper will be replaced with one with similar qualities.

Shipping Information

Shipping and handling charges are applied to all orders, whether made via the online boutique/phone/mail/fax.

We ship invitations via Federal Express—or United States Postal Service (USPS), if you don't mind your package left at your door step. Continental U.S. Shipping rates below.


Shipping within the United States for Invitation Orders

Invitation samples are shipped via USPS Priority Mail.


Note: Ground shipping to cities in the eastern U.S. may take about 5 business days. These rates reflect delivery to the contiguous United Sates and do not necessarily represent FedEx or US Postal Service published rates and will include handling charges by Designs By Lenila. After our creations leave our studio, Designs by Lenila is not responsible for lost, damaged, broken, soiled, returned goods.


Shipping to Canada and other International Countries

Please contact us for actual shipping and handling charges. Please check with your local Customs Headquarters for extra duty and custom charges, as you are responsible for these charges.
